B&T USA Rotex-SF 5.56 / .223 Closed Tine Muzzle Device, 1/2x28. Precision-machined from heat-treated stainless steel, this "Assault" Muzzle Device is designed by B&T. The Assault provides fast-attach mounting for the B&T Rotex-SF suppressor. This device is compatible with .223/5.56x45mm calibers and 1/2" x 28 threads. It features a black DLC coating.

Misleading photo
The actual muzzle device is well made but be aware of what you’re purchasing. There are ports on top of the device, similar to the surefire warcomp. Again, the device is very well constructed and the finish is excellent, but this will be louder suppressed and will likely leak more gas than without the ports. The photo is misleading because it shows the bottom only and the description does not mention the ports.

4 stars because it doesn’t come with shims, my rc2 mounts up fine.

One of the coolest flash hider / brakes out there.
Can't beat a B&T flash hider, got it from Arms Unlimited at an incredible price. To my surprise the photo is of the underside - there are muzzle brake ports on the top. Fantastic machining. Feel very lucky to have one.
