The Steiner Laser Devices DBAL-A3 class 1/3R, based on the standard issue DBAL-A3 for U.S. warfighters, brings the latest advances in IR and laser technology to the civilian market with its dual beam reliability for extreme accuracy in low- and no-light maneuvers. In addition, the DBAL-A3 is the first to feature new defocused adjustable IR illumination technology to enable both midrange and close quarter target acquisition.

Now available for the commercial market, the first eye-safe IR laser pointer, IR illuminator and green laser pointer in a single compact unit. Features an adjustable IR illuminator for better illumination at longer ranges, dual activation switches and high/low power modes.

    Overall the DBAL A3 is pretty decent, do I wish the laser was stronger and the or illuminator wasn’t weak beyond 50 yards...of course. But for a civilian model it does what it’s supposed to.

    Very nice laser sight and I picked it up for a great Black Friday deal. Works perfectly as expected. Should provide me with years of service. The IR laser is powerful enough to reach out at least as far as I will be using the rifle for and then some. Nice sharp laser beam focus. So much better than the Chinese junk lasers. I will look forward to another Black Friday deal like this next year.

    DBAL-A3 offers the functionality I was looking for and appears to be very well built. I have not subjected it to any strain yet.     Awesome IR illuminator and laser. Small and lightweight. Definitely comparable to a mil-spec peq-15. And you can't beat the killer sale price.

    This laser completes my night vision set up. It seats well on my carbine rail and is solid. Has been reliable and well built. It performs as expected and should give me great service for years.
