I was actually anxious about the condition and configuration of the actual gun I’m gonna receive, but the gun itself is in pretty decent shape with just some wear marks and came with a older model surefire forend weaponlight!!! I was so happy with my first purchase from AU !!!

The shotgun was as advertised, nice bonus to have a Quality forend with a light on it. Forend was loose, which isn’t a major concern(I already have a forend wrench), but the packaging was poor. The standard gun box was pretty beat up and no padding had been placed inside the box.

Just as described looks like they were pretty well used but after good cleaning couldn't be happier

Like with any batch of police trade ins you don't really know what you're gonna get. I have missed out on them before and wasn't going to this time so I took the plunge. I ended up acquiring a Wingmaster from the 60s. Barrel was painted yellow. My gunsmith instructor (former leo) told me this was to show visually the gun was to be used for less than lethal shells (bean bag, tear gas, rubber balls, etc.) Shotgun is in great shape. Has plastic furniture that I will be replacing with wood. Wish the bluing was better but it'll look great with a parkerization job. Barrel is 2 3/4" and appears to be in good shape as well. Overall not a bad price for what I got. I wanted a police magnum marked reciever but I think I got a better deal with the Wingmaster

When I went to pick up the shotgun and first saw it, I was a little disappointed. It looked rough. But after I took it apart, cleaned it up, cleaned the surface rust off with 0000 steel wool, and oiled it up, it looks great. It just looked rough because it was bone dry and had some light surface rust. The internals are perfect, and the action is very smooth. It has a very high ‘cool factor’. The ‘Police Magnum’ stamping on the receiver adds greatly to the cool factor. So does the stenciled lettering on the buttstock. It’s a badass shotgun. Especially for $300. I like it so much, I ordered another one.
