The SP5K was developed by Heckler & Koch as a semiautomatic, civilian sporting pistol that matches the look and feel of the famous MP5K submachine gun.The SP5K is designed and manufactured to meet the definition of a civilian pistol and marks the return of the roller delayed blowback system to an HK commercial product. This operating system is legendary in its accuracy and reliability. Originally developed on the Heckler & Koch G3 rifle, it has been used on several HK firearms.
The SP5K retains many of the critical features of the MP5, including its precision machined components and attention-to-detail quality. The SP5K is manufactured completely in Heckler & Koch’s Oberndorf factory in southwest Germany.
The overall length of the SP5K is approximately 14 inches — slightly longer than an MP5K — due to its unique handguard. The SP5K hand guard is designed with special ergonomic and safety features to protect the shooter’s hand and provide a comfortable and stable grip.
Despite its size, the SP5K is well suited for sporting use. Using the proven roller delayed blowback system; the SP5K’s inherent accuracy makes it an excellent choice for target shooting and an ideal home security arm.
And a wide variety of accessories can be added to increase its functionality. A Picatinny rail scope mount is attached to the upper receiver and allows for optional sights to be easily mounted. Covered by Heckler & Koch’s limited lifetime warranty, the HK SP5K is a faithful rendering of the iconic MP5K as a semi automatic pistol.

Sp5k is Worth every penny!
10/10 gun. It does come with a magazine metal bar that blocks the installation of a mag release but it could be easily removed with a dremel. (Hk pro has a tutorial) If you are in the market for an Hk Sp5 I highly recommend buying this! Secondly this could this be made into the Sp5k-pdw configuration if you wish. B&T sells an after market barrel with tru-lug.

Rare (for the US) and fantastic gun at fair price
I'm primarily a collector. I heard about these Euro SP5Ks. I was lucky that some were in stock when I checked. The gun arrived exactly as advertised. It's extremely cool. Different in markings vs. the US guns per the Arms Unlimited description. The gun comes in a hard case w/a manual, a duplicate sticker from HK with the SN, etc all contained in a plastic bag also with the HK sticker w/model, SN, etc. I've not seen this in US guns before making it all the more interesting. Despite the different Euro markings, these guns have the same SN prefix as the US sold and marked ones. I am extremely pleased. You will be very happy with these as a shooter or collector. Further, esp. given the recent gouging prices wise by various dealers, the price for this gun is extremely reasonable. I highly recommend this gun and Arms Unlimited!

A long hunt is over....
