The AU Universal Smartphone Adapter is designed to allow the operator to film or photograph their thermal / night vision activities with the use of a commonly available smartphone. The AU-USA adapter securely mounts your smartphone behind the ocular lens of any thermal / night vision device that uses a PVS-14 Eyepiece Assembly. The PVS-14 Eyepiece assembly is the most commonly-used eyepiece on night vision and thermal equipment; ensuring maximum versatility.

Align your smartphone's camera up precisely behind the ocular lens for high quality reliable filming using the adjustable securing clamps on the phone mount. You can orient your smartphone in any direction that suits your use or is relative to the mounting position you are utilizing; film vertically or horizontally.

Optimal filming is achieved when mounting your thermal / night vision device to a tripod or if utilized on a weapon mounted platform.

    Super solid. Would highly recommend. I'm able to take up to a 30 sec exposure with my cellphone and telescope using night vision, imaging nebulae. Screws right into objective nice and tight.

    Item received without delay and as advertised. I'll be honest and say I haven't actually put it to use yet, but I see no reason why it won't function as intended. I will have to remove my phone's case but that's not a problem.

    I ordered this before I knew the eyepiece on my new PVS-14 didn’t have threads. I was able to modify it a little with a rubber eye cup and it works okay.

    I’ve only had a chance to use this a few times but it has worked well. There’s definitely a learning curve in getting it attached to your NOD. For example, as a newb I didn’t realize that the default eyepiece has to be unscrewed in order to attach this mount. It also takes some getting used to getting the camera to mesh well with your NOD. Once you get it figured out, it’s simple and intuitive.

    Used this mount with an iphone on an nvision halo lr thermal with better results/clarity videos then a mini dvr set up
